The Project
SDP envisions following outputs:
- Alliance with organisations working on the issues of the Targeted communities, like CHR, NCDHR, PWTN, ICDR, ISDN, ASN and other Dalit NGOs.
- A network of 10 trained activists from scavenging community
- Publication of studies and researches based on field studies
- More information available on Targeted Communities issues and details on various forum
- Development of Fellowship programme for training community leaders and advocates
- The research and change Unit established to analyse impact of public policies and law on the welfare of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes
- Publication Unit to highlight and dissemination of key information
- 6 youth leaders from three caste trained as community leader
- Organizations working on Targeted Communities issues working collaboratively for active campaigning on caste issue and discrimination.
- Issue of atrocity and manual scavenging discussed at various platforms & international interventions increased to address it.
